Howell, MI - DeWitts Radiator is proud to announce the achievement of ISO 9001:2015 certification at its Howell, Michigan location. ISO is one of the most rigorous and well-regarded standards in the world. The newest version of the ISO Certification is the most updated standard of its kind and focuses on quality management and performance. The team at DeWitts was audited by NQA, and was presented with their certificate in December 2018 and recently celebrated renewal of the certificate in November 2019. Since marking these milestones, DeWitts has developed a management system that aligns quality and continuous improvement within its wider business strategy.
“We are thrilled to earn and renew this certification and feel it provides additional assurance to our customers that we are focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Prior to the required audit, we sent two of our key members through auditor training to become certified Internal Auditors of the standard,” said John Dingman, ISO Program Manager at DeWitts. “This allows us to simultaneously complete internal audits in each manufacturing process throughout the year and prior to the annual recertification audit.”
Attention to detail and a company-wide approach to quality can be seen throughout all DeWitts processes ranging from assembly and CAB brazing to testing and automated welding.
DeWitts Radiator has been producing high quality aluminum radiators for over 20 years. In 2007, the company installed a state-of-the-art aluminum brazing line which allows production of the finest aluminum cores in the industry. DeWitts Radiator has the capability to braze and build all types of heat exchangers for mobile industrial applications. In addition to its brazing capabilities, DeWitts can complete components in its fabrication department, where both low and high-volume aluminum brazing and welding services are available.
