It is not always an easy, cut-and-dry, mounting solution to add an automotive electric fan to your Chevelle. Often engine swaps, accessory drive conversions, and extra thick radiators all add up to not much room for automotive cooling fans. Fitting an electric fan that will cool your engine properly is made much easier with the use of a DC brushless fan that is designed to work in conjunction with a shroud that provides full coverage of your radiator’s core.
This is an industry-exclusive solution for mounting Dual 12" 500-watt brushless fans to your 1964-67 Chevelle radiator. This is an all-Aluminum fabricated shroud offering decades of performance and durability.  This shroud is full size to fit a radiator core 25.5” long. A “Direct Fit®” on GM-style and DeWitts Direct Fit Chevelle radiators. Includes all mounting hardware, wiring, and temperature sensor.

The new SPAL brushless fans are ideal for engine and oil cooling, HVAC, and auxiliary cooling applications. These new fans were developed and designed with cutting-edge technology, high-energy ferrite magnets, and a state-of-the-art sine wave sensorless drive. These motors reach more than 82% electrical efficiency, placing our 500W power range products among the most efficient motors available anywhere. The result is high air-side performance at minimum electrical load. SBL motors are fully sealed to be IP68 and IP6K9K compliant and can operate in the presence of many aggressive or hazardous substances.
